The Connector plugin
Live on WordPress.org since September 2024. Install it on your own WordPress site to manage every grant from where your support team already works.
What it is
The Connector runs on your site, not your customer’s. It connects incoming access grants to your support desk, currently Help Scout, so a support agent sees “this customer granted access, expires in 4 hours” inside the ticket, and can log in without leaving it.
Where it actually stands
This page used to say the Connector was submitted to WordPress.org and pending review. It’s been listed and installable since September 13, 2024. That’s not new; it was just never updated here. It’s a small, active listing today, not the default install for every vendor yet, and we’d rather say that than imply it’s bigger than it is.
Setup
Install it from the WordPress.org plugin directory, or download the zip directly, connect your Help Scout mailbox, and grants your customers make through your product’s SDK start showing up as they come in. Full setup: docs.trustedlogin.com.
One-time secrets
The Connector also carries one-time secrets. Someone on your team pastes a password or API key into the Secrets screen in your own WordPress admin, sets single-view or an expiry up to 30 days, and sends the link. The decryption key lives in the link, in the part your browser never sends to any server — not your site’s, not ours. Your team reads the history of every secret it created, kept 90 days.
